The next VMOB’s reunion is scheduled for 12 noon on 13th September, 2024 at the View Hotel, Bradfield Room, North Sydney. Cost $55 which includes room hire, buffet lunch and desert with great views over Sydney Harbour, the bridge and Sydney CBD.

As a result of the Wyndham Scheme Mark Street school as we knew it became a primary school and the 1966 boys became the last of a long line of Villa Maria old boys.
A new committee is required if future VMOB reunions are to take place. The outgoing committee is able to make available a current database of old boys & it would be a pity to see it become obsolete with age and to see the sun set on these enjoyable occasions. Please let David Collins know if you are interested in forming a committee or if you would simply like to know what’s involved.

UPDATE
We had to move the venue from Gladesville RSL to West Ryde Leagues Club due to extensive renovations.
Your committee is still in the process of finalising some details, however Kevin Leary has crunched the numbers and come up with the cost. This year the cost will be $40 a head.
We need your help so we can get the final numbers for food catering. Every year about 60% pay in advance and the remainder pay on the day. An email will be circulated closer to the event requesting Old Boys to indicate if they will be attending and either paying in advance or paying on the day.
On October 28 our old school, Villa Maria, will be Celebrating 150 years of Catholic Primary Education in Hunters Hill beginning with....
Should you wish to attend it is by invitation only and invitations now close 15th October, having been extended to after the school holidays.
If anyone is interested please reply email to me (David Collins) and your committee will approach the school on your behalf. Discussions with Villa Maria staff indicate they would love to see as many Villa Maria Marist Old Boys as possible attend. They are keen to allow the present primary student to interact with us as possible.

We have very sad news.
David Day (son of Geoff and Judy Day) lost his life in a motor vehicle accident in the early hours of yesterday morning. Initial reports are that David was alone in the vehicle near Nimbin when the vehicle left the road. David was married with an 8 year old son and a young infant. RIP.
